SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping policy: 100% of orders are shipped within two business days. Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on mondays. Please note, we are currently only able to ship within the New Zealand territories.

Delayed or lost orders : A parcel is considered lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 15 business days. We cannot take responsibility for delays caused by the courier. Although orders normally take much less than that, we are unable to dispatch a replacement until this period of time has elapsed.

Wrong or incomplete address: If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you must pay all delivery cost to re-deliver your order to a corrected address. We are not responsible for the loss of your order if the address provided at checkout is incomplete or incorrect.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY AND DISCLAIMERS

Policies and Disclaimers
We work with several amazing jewellery manufacturers both in NZ and overseas, who produce beautiful quality pieces to make up our range of jewellery. But as jewellery is delicate and often utilising precious materials, it is important that it is looked after carefully.

All jewellery components for all products are under warranty for 30 days from date of purchase. Pieces sent back for repair will be inspected, polished and all components checked and tightened after the repair is made. The buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.

Refund Policy
We strive to make certain every customer is satisfied. In the unfortunate scenario that an item needs to be returned or exchanged, our policy is as follows:
 
We offer full refunds or exchanges within 14 days of receipt. Please contact Breathe YOU to notify us that you would like to make a return or exchange including the item you wish to return and the reason why. We will contact you to set up a return or exchange. We will refund the original price, including postage. Return shipping costs are the buyers responsibility. We issue a refund once the returned item has been received by us. Therefore, we suggest the buyer arrange for delivery confirmation of the item. Refunds will not be given if the goods have been damaged by you, this includes damage caused by inadequate packaging by you when returning goods. Proof of purchase is required.


Manufacturing Faults
In the event of a manufacturing fault we may need to refer back to the original manufacturer otherwise a replacement will be offered.

Manufacturing faults do not include:

  • Chipped, cracked or broken gemstones and inclusions;

  • Broken chains;

  • General wear and tear including jewellery that has bent out of shape or oxidised (tarnished)

  • Plating “antique” finish that has worn off. Plating is a metal coating that is bonded electronically or chemically to a base metal to give a different colour or finish – I.e Gold plate. Some manufacturers will plate with a heavier thickness than others and so it may last longer, but please be aware that plating will eventually wear down over time, depending on use etc. Oxidising is a chemical process often used to give a darker.


If you would like any of the above repairs made, we can assess the damage and will let you know the cost before proceeding.
